Many many hearts1

Image
I've been feeling a little demotivated - but that's probably because I spent a few days just knitting these little decorations: I'm not really one for knitting the same thing over and over - it gets boring! I now need to decorate them with beads, buttons, etc to make them look a bit more special, and sell-able!! I used the heart from my little ' Heart Wand' pattern .  Size 3.5mm needles and dk yarn.

Free Pattern - Fat Owl

Image
I promised this pattern a long time ago.  Fat Owl download now   Typed while I was tired, and the applique instructions are pretty slim so mail me if you have any questions!

Mermaid Tears Purse

Image
Another crochet pattern. Think I'm on a roll! This time a free pattern from Bernat .  It was very easy to make, made easier by a video tutorial.   I will definitely make more of these for presents.

Another Rosie

Image
Another dolly made with the Rosie the Ragdoll pattern.  I really like the colours of this one, she's a bit more traditional.  Maybe she won't sell and I'll get to keep her!

Aliona

Image
Meet Aliona - a version of my free pattern Lily .  I knit her in the round on dpns, did her legs 10 rows shorter and her arms just 36 rows in total.  Her dress is also shorter. She's called Aliona as she reminds of the dancer of the same name from 'Strictly Come Dancing' on the BBC - think its the hair colour!

Patterns to come!

Image
My poor blog has been a bit neglected of late - sorry about that. Not helped by the fact that this week is Holy Week for Easter and I've been singing at various masses and prayer services every second night. So here are a few pics of some patterns that will be available soon (whenever I get to type them up!). And some will be free!!!! In baby news, I'm at week 38 now so nearly there. Very fat now, and starting to get very itchy, so fingers crossed I don't have too long left.
