The Sleepy Princess

Image
DH took the kids out this afternoon to give me a break, so I got some typing of patterns done. For sale now is 'The Sleepy Princess', just 3 euro of the pattern.  The finished doll is 14" tall, and she's lovely and soft.  Perfect for taking to bed. buy now through Ravelry.

Busy, busy, busy.

Quite busy at the moment, and finding it hard to keep up-dating the blog and Facebook. It's hard going this business lark! I've been working on a new doll design with Emily. Basically I said I was making a doll, and she requested a lot of additions and requirements! I've also been talking to www.SiandLu.com about collaborating with them on some toys. And I got an order through Etsy last night for my custom Wedding Cake Toppers for a wedding in Brooklyn on 13th June. That means some fast knitting is needed and fingers crossed courier post can get it there on time!

Toddler Tom

Just finished knitting this request for a friend. Quite a cheeky chappie I think!

I love this doll!

Image
DH has taken the kids out for an hour or two so time for some frantic sewing! I had the body of this doll made ages.  So I took her out.  Embroidered her face, did her hair and then started to dress her. I had no plan as to how I'd finish her, but I just love how she turned out.  She's a real little hippie chick!

Pink Monkey

Image
I've been knitting a hoodie for Oliver for what seems like forever, so I needed a quick toy fix. A pair of Emily's old tights, some stuffing and some felt - you have yourself a monkey! This little guy will be for sale in my Etsy shop as soon as Etsy is back on line (it was down this morning for upgrading the system)

Blue Dog

Image
This little guy was made using a G&G pattern I bought on Etsy a few months ago.  The actual pattern was for a reindeer, but I fancied making a bear or something so I just gave it different ears and a tail. His face is a little weird - I machine-stitched it, but hadn't marked it out before hand so its a little crocked!

Pattern meet Yellow

Image
My little Office Monkey is featured in an Etsy treasury today that it made up of objects that are patterned and yellow. link Check it out!  There are some really nice quilts actually - makes me want to get out my cottons and start some patchwork.

Crafty Ireland Exchange

Image
I signed up last month for a little craft exchange within the Etsy Ireland team. I made a little knitted necklace, which I forgot to photograph - I'll blame being sick for that one! In return I got 3 lovely little bracelets and a beautiful postcard - all from Su at SuSimply . Check out her blog.  Her photos are fantastic, and it's really nice to see how someone else sees Dublin.

Tracey's Angel

Image
I got an email today from one of my Etsy customers. She had bought the Bride and Groom Wedding Toppers pattern . But instead of making the pair, she turned the bride into an angel and gave her gorgeous ribbon wings. I think I may have to make one of these myself.

Yet another treasury!

Another pattern, in another Christmas'y themed treasury on Etsy . Although this time my christmas tree trims are beside Amy Gaines pattern for tree trims. Kinda puts my stuff to shame - I love her stuff!

Another Treasury

Another of my designs is featured in a treasury on Etsy . An enchanted theme this time!
